Normal Activity or Reactions
Pediatricians
usually divide cognitive behavior into the following
age groupings(+/- one or two months). Your child may
develop faster or slower. If your child does not
show one behavior or reaction at these ages, don't
panic. Only when two or more of these behaviors or
reactions manifest themselves continuously over a
period of months should you have a
thorough hearing test performed on your child. |

After 2 1/2
years of age, it should be obvious if your child is
not speaking in short phrases, not responding to simple questions, or does not
turning around at the sound of your voice. |
